Smash Sessions

Elise Welker Photography and Lana’s Cakes have partnered together to offer cake designs that uniquely complement cake smash portrait sessions. These cakes are “tall and tiny”, making them both adorable and perfect for little hands to explore. With a clean, modern look, these cakes will complement your session’s aesthetic by keeping the focus on your baby and his/her features, rather than elaborate props, themes and cakes.

    Please select (1) from the following options for your cake smash session. *All cakes will be 3-layer, 4” round vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.*
    Solid Color - $30

    Choice of one color of buttercream in: classic smooth finish with puffs or borderswiss dotsspackle or striped texture

    Ombre - $35

    Choice of one color of buttercream changing from light to dark shades in: smooth marbled finishrosettes

    Speciality Options - $40

    Custom buttercream design in contrasting palette to coordinate with session colors.

    Lana’s Cakes will deliver to EWP studio in advance of your session ($10).Client will pick-up from Lana’s Cakes in Magnolia Green.

    If you choose delivery, your cake is transferred off the cardboard cake board while fully cold and placed directly on the cake stand for the cleanest look. Cake is then brought to room temperature for the optimal amount of time before your session to minimize settling and maximize tactile play for baby.
    If you choose pick-up, your cake will be on a cake board, which will then be set on the cake stand, so the visual will be slightly different from many example images. Please be aware that you will need to begin bringing cake to room temperature before traveling to your session with it, in order for it to be warm enough for baby to eat and play. Please plan for extra, extra caution while traveling. Thank you for understanding that Lana’s Cakes and Elise Welker Photography are not responsible for mishaps that could happen in transport.

    After making your selections, Elise Welker Photography will confirm your order with Lana’s Cakes. You will receive an email from Lana with payment instructions and to schedule pick-up, if applicable. Payment for your cake is due in full within 24 hours of this email to hold your spot on her baking schedule. Please monitor your inbox for her invoice.
